Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Electro-Mechanical) Job Description
This electro-mechanical Maintenance Electrician role supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving production equipment. You apply advanced electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting skills to keep equipment running safely and efficiently, while also contributing to equipment installations, modifications, and preventive maintenance programs.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing facility with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to loud, and you may encounter airborne dust, powders, and fumes, as well as variable temperatures throughout the workday. The work is physically demanding and involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and use of hands and fingers, along with occasional climbing and balancing. You regularly lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height and below the waist. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, protective footwear, hearing protection, and any additional PPE specified for particular work areas or tasks.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Mount, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.50 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
